Course Outcome

Certificate II in Nail Technology - For those who would like to work in the beauty industry as nail technicians. Nail technicians provide manicures, pedicures and apply gel and acrylic nail enhancements and nail art.

Course Details

Duration:  Full time 3 months approx Part time 16 weeks
Days of Attendance :  Mon-Fri 9:30am–4:30pm Part time 20hrs/Wk
Pre-requisite:  None 
Requirements:  All applicants must be a minimum age of 16 
Course Start Date:  First Monday of Every month 
Scheduled hours per week:  35 Hours per week full time study 
Accreditation:  Nationally Recognized qualification 
VRQA:  Registration approved by the Department of Education & Training 
Semester break:  None 
Attendance Requirement:  80% 
Training Resources:  Are cost inclusive of course fees 
Uniform:  Compulsory dress code applies. 
Consumable Stock:  Is cost inclusive of course fee

Training is in a classroom setting, with a mix of practical work on clients, written work, workshops, and group discussion. Assessment includes project work, demonstration of skills & participation in discussions and debates, written and oral tests and presentations.
