This is the National qualification to work as a hairdresser; it is recognised Internationally allowing you to work and travel. The Certificate III in Hairdressing is the standard entry level qualification for the hairdressing industry.
Functions in this qualification involve employment as a hairdresser; with supervision of others,
treat hair and scalp, Haircutting, Consulting & giving advice, style dress & design hair,
permanent wave & chemical reformation services, colour and lightening & coordinate salon
team.

For hairdressers who have completed Certificate III and who wish to enhance & extend their training and career options. You gain advanced skills including hair extensions, make-up application and are able to train and assess others. Complex technical skills and knowledge of hairdressing is expanded and would be employed as a highly skilled hairdresser, technical adviser with a hairdressing products company; or independently as a freelance session stylist. These skills include haircutting, hair design, hair colouring, complex colour correction, hair extensions, chemical reformation, trichology and make-up application.

This is the ultimate Hairdressing qualification. It gives you the knowledge and ability to manage a salon or own and operate your own salon, with advantage over existing manager/owners who don’t have this level of training, because you will have developed skills and knowledge in relation to service and sales.
