Course Outcome

This is the National qualification to work as a hairdresser; it is recognised Internationally allowing you to work and travel. The Certificate III in Hairdressing is the standard entry level qualification for the hairdressing industry. Functions in this qualification involve employment as a hairdresser; with supervision of others, treat hair and scalp, Haircutting, Consulting & giving advice, style dress & design hair, permanent wave & chemical reformation services, colour and lightening & coordinate salon team.

Course Details

Duration: 12 months (52 weeks - 2 Semesters)
Days of Attendance: Mon-Sun 9:30am–4:30pm Fulltime, Flexible and W/ends
Modes of Study: Practical and Theory
Pre-requisite: None
Requirements:  All applicants must be a minimum age of 18
Course Start Date:  First Monday of Every month 
Scheduled hours per week:  25 Hours per week full time study

Attendance Requirement:  80%

Training is in a classroom setting, with a mix of practical work on clients, written work, workshops, and group discussion. Assessment includes project work, demonstration of skills & participation in discussions and debates, written and oral tests and presentations.
