Course Outcome
This is the entry level program into the hairdressing industry. With this certificate you will work under supervision, providing assistance to other operators, interacting with customers and providing customer service, following workplace safety procedures, providing assistance to colleagues and developing hairdressing industry knowledge. For the person wishing to gain a pre-vocational qualification or an understanding of hairdressing prior to obtaining full-time employment as a hairdressing, apprentice or full-time trainee in the hairdressing industry.

| Requirements: | All applicants must be a minimum age of 16 |

Training is in a classroom setting, with a mix of practical work on clients, written work, workshops, and group discussion. Assessment includes project work, demonstration of skills & participation in discussions and debates, written and oral tests and presentations.
