We offer courses starting from non-accredited short courses, certificates to diplomas and we cater for hairdressers wishing to expand or refresh their skills.

SHB20216 Certificate II in Salon Assistant

This is the perfect introduction to the hairdressing industry. You will be provided with class contact hours and real valid hands-on experience with real clients in our busy salon right across the road from the Iconic Flinders Street Station. You will learn how to interact with clients professionally, provide assistance to senior colleagues and follow workplace health and safety procedures.

SHB30416 Certificate III in Hairdressing

This qualification reflects the role of hairdressers who use a range of well-developed sales, consultation, technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients. It includes practical skills such as design, colouring, foiling, men's and ladies cutting, long hair design and much more. You will be provided with class contact hours and real valid hands-on experience with real clients in our busy salon right across the road from the Iconic Flinders Street Station.

This certificate will expand your existing skills. It will upgrade your skills and develop a pathway to work as a senior hairdresser in a salon, a freelance session stylist or a technical advisor for companies.

SHB50216 Diploma of Salon Management

The skills you learn within this qualification will put you closer to studying a business, management or marketing degree. Some of your units may provide credit towards a degree. This course provides you with skills and knowledge to undertake management to work as a Salon Manager in any type of personal services business including hairdressing or beauty salons, barber shops and spas.
