Professional Cut & Colour
Duration 10 days, 9.30am - 4.30pm - must purchase a manikin head
Increase your chemical knowledge & cutting skills. This course is recommended for individuals who wish to increase their skills in cutting & colouring. It will increase your knowledge in the following areas of creative colour & cutting combination, cutting skills & colour techniques explained and Intensive reds & lightening effects.
Hair Styling for Bridal Industry
Duration 2 days, 9.30am - 4.30pm
Designed for hairdressers who wish to specialise in the bridal/formal market. Enabling you to design & apply long hair finishes.
Topics Covered
• The latest bridal styles and including
• Adding hair pieces
• Classic styles 1950’s
• Hair up and down styles
• Trial tips
• Hot roller setting technique
• Blow waving techniques
Note: Equipment required or may be purchased - Hot rollers, clamp, hair dryer, tail comb, round brushes, bobbie pins, manikin head.
Select and Apply Hair Extensions
Pre-requisite: Certificate III in Hairdressing
3 sessions, Monday-Wednesday 10am- 4pm
It involves communication, analysis, planning and then selecting hair, preparing materials and applying hair extensions to create finished hair designs.
Creative Texturing and Razor Cutting
Pre-requisite: Certificate III in Hairdressing
Duration 2 days approx, 9.30am - 4.30pm
Achieve the latest fashion results - for qualified hairdressers to learn advanced razor cutting and texturing techniques.
• Texturing of interior/exterior
• Removal of weight using slicing techniques
• Slicing methods using scissors
Men’s Hair Cutting
Duration 5 days, 10-5pm Mon-Fri/Part time also available
• Men’s fashion techniques
• Razor cutting / barbering
• Texturising “scissor over comb” and clipper cutting
• Beards - trimming and design
Long Hair Design
Duration 1 day, 10.00am-4.00pm or 6.00pm-9.00pm - must purchase a manikin head
For those wishing to enhance their long hair techniques.

• Apply fundamentals of design
• Apply classic & contemporary long hair design
Commercial Colour
Duration 3 days, 10.00am-4.00pm or 6.00pm-9.00pm - must purchase a manikin head
Broaden your knowledge and skills in both men’s and ladies hairdressing to produce innovative fashion colour results. Perform different colour services, using a combination of techniques.

All learning styles are accommodated. Training is in a classroom setting, with a mix of practical work on clients, written work, workshops, and group discussion. Assessment includes project work, demonstration of skills on clients, role play, participation in discussions and debates, written and oral tests and presentations.
