For hairdressers who have completed Certificate III and who wish to enhance & extend their training and career options. Advanced skills gained including hair extensions and make-up application. Complex technical skills and knowledge of hairdressing is expanded and you would be employed as a highly skilled hairdresser, technical adviser with a hairdressing products company or independently as a freelance session stylist. Some of these skills include haircutting, hair design, hair colouring, complex colour correction, hair extensions, chemical reformation, trichology and make-up application.
Functions in this qualification involve employment as a hairdresser with:-

Hair and make-up for photo shoots
Hair and make-up for the bridal market
Jobs in the print media
Jobs on cruise ships
Technician for a product company
Teacher of hair and make-up
Hair and make-up for film and television

Days of Attendance :  Mon-Fri 9am–5pm Part time 20hrs/wk
Pre-requisite:  WRH30106 Certificate III in Hairdressing
Requirements:  All applicants must be a minimum age of 16 
Course Start Date:  First Monday of Every month 
Scheduled hours per week:  35 Hours per week full time study 
Accreditation:  Nationally Recognized qualification 
VRQA:  Registration approved by the Department of Education & Training 
Semester break:  None 
Attendance Requirement:  80%
