Fundamental Makeup Basics

This course will provide the student with an introduction to the makeup industry and is suitable for anyone who has never done makeup before. It will include OHS & how to look after & clean your brushes, teach you how to choose the right warm or cool colours, how to highlight, shade & blend and much more. The curriculum includes day, evening and special occasion make-up as well as techniques for colour correction, shading, highlighting and false eyelashes.
Basic Facial (non accredited)
Duration 8 Weeks part time or 2 weeks full time, 9.30am-5.00pm, Course Start Date: First Monday of Every month
For those wishing to be self-employed or those who want to work in a salon and provide facials. By the end of the course you will have an understanding of basic facials including theory and practical.

Eyelash Perming Course
Duration One evening or half day
Clients with straight eyelashes can now have a semi permanent lift - giving the same effect as using eyelash curlers. A completely safe treatment. The eyelashes are adhered to a mini roller and a mild perming product is used to curl them for up to 3 months.
Eyelash Grafting

Ear Piercing Course
Duration 10 hrs
This course is for those wishing to gain the skills and knowledge required to pierce ear lobes for ornamentation. There are no pre requisites. All college equipment is used for this course. However, an ear piercing kit is available to be purchased should you wish and can be done before commencing the course.
You are required to sit a multiple choice test and will be tested practically on the use of the gun and on sanitization procedures.
Spray Tanning
Duration 3hrs
Spray Tanning is one of the most “in demand” salon treatments and will equip you with the skills necessary to deliver flawless spray tan applications to commercial standards. An excellent opportunity for existing therapists to add this skill to their services, or those seeking entry to the industry, by renting space within hair/nail salons, gyms or work from home. Theory and practical techniques (i.e. strap lines & sunburn blending) are provided and own model required for each student.
